I'm still learning my digital SLR camera and am very confusde about F stop and shutter speed. But what F stop would you use at about sunset when the light can be intense in some areas. Asked by Chris - Tue Oct 2 16:55:01 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. My first priority would be whether you want to stop motion, or have a sense of motion and activity with some blur. If you want to stop fast human motion such as a whirling arm, shutter speed will need to be at least 1/500s. However, you can give a sense of motion and speed by using a slower shutter speed and creating some blur. Second, I would be using a long focal length. A good zoom will allow you to isolate the child and fill the frame. Third, avoid photographing with the subject looking into the sun. They will squint, which is unlikely to show them at their best. Fourth, fill the frame with the child. I know my best shots of my children and grandchildren establish their context with minimal background. Mass D (163g)is hanged at 54 degrees S of E AND mass H (401g) at 12 degrees east of north on the force table. An unknown mass F is also hanged into certain angular inclination on a force table. Using a spring scale the system of masses is set in an equilibrium at the west. What is the mass of F and its associated angle of inclination on the force table? Asked by mhye - Sat Jan 5 20:48:38 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. mass* gravity = W = Force = mg --- g is not being used because it will enter the system equations for weight, but will be exited as result is interms of mass only --- let the unknown mass (F), which is hanged at an angle (p) from EAST. resolving all mass-forces along EAST (X) & NORTH (Y) with unit vectors (i) and (j) resply Rx = F cos p + 401 sin 12 + 163 cos 54 Ry = F sin p + 401 cos 12 - 163 sin 54 === when system is in force-equilibrium > leftwards force = rightwards force OR net RX =0 upwards force = downwards force OR Net Ry =0 F cos p = - [401 sin 12 + 163 cos 54] = - 179.18 --- (1) F sin p = 163 sin 54 - 401 cos 12 = - 260.37 --- (2) divide (2) by (1) tan p = 260.37/179.18 = 1.453 p = tan^-1[1.453] = 55.46 so F force is hung at 55.4 [cont.] Answered by anil bakshi - Sun Jan 6 23:18:23 2008 Can I volunteer in China under an F visa with a different company?
Q. I am currently working in China for a large foreign company under an F visa. In light of the recent changes in Chinese visa laws, can I volunteer for a local Chinese company when my F visa is under a different company? I heard that even if you're just volunteering and not receiving any compensation, your visa has to be with that company because of liability issues. Asked by jasyc - Wed Jul 2 06:03:18 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Nope. The visa changes affect the Chinese companies as well and they need to meet certain requirements (including registered capital) prior of being able to sponsor a foreigner. And this is probably not possible at the moment because of the Olympics. Plus you will find it extremely difficult to explain to the office providing work permits your "volunteering" with the Chinese company. You should get your "large foreign company" to sponsor you for a Z visa which is the legal way anyway. You might need to go home or travel to HK though.
