OK, so we had the same problem at about the same age with our little female. I can't agree with the squirt gun/water thing, it'll just make her hate the squirt gun. When ours would get to aggressive we would calmly put her on her back with our hand on her chest and calm her. It may take a minute and being on her back is submissive, she won't like it at first, but you're the boss. She will soon get the message that this is the sign to settle down. Use a word, even shh when you're calming her. Soon all you'll need to do is shh. Our puppy would just get to wound up. They don't understand when they're getting to rough. I have a sheltie who is 11.75 inches at the shoulders and 13 lbs. My friend has one who is 20 inches and weighs about 45 lbs! So who knows. Shelties of vastly different sizes can even come from the same litter! Corgis are small dogs, but they are heavy-boned and heavy bodied.
