The Sony Playstation 4 was released on November 2013 and competed against Microsoft this time with the XBox One which had similar specifications to the PS4.

8 fast-core processors with a powerful dedicated graphics processor and 8GB of memory to keep things flying along. The controller has also been updated with more sensors and touch pads, the online experience has been enhanced to integrate with you more than before.

A cool feature of the Ps4 is the ability to install an app to your phone or tablet and they then become second screens, to view in-play items or replay gameplay with ease.

The PS4 will be cheaper than the Xbox one you could say this is partly due to the Kinect which comes with the Xbox and is essential for using the device. If you have no need for what it can do, then quite rightly the PS4 is for more classic gaming. It is argued the Xbox is for gaming but is also trying to tick boxes to become a TV/Media and immerse people in using cameras for fitness and other games.
