LeapPad products have been very popular the last couple of years running especially at Christmas time, and this year the Ultra version which was recently released is predicted to be a big hit again this Christmas toy season. The tablet does include a browser but it is secured so that only the safest videos and images from the web can be viewed. In addition you can restrict access by setting simple parent controls.

The LeapPad Ultra is comaptable with LeapFrog’s library of over 800 educator-approved apps, games, ebooks, videos, music, and more. The library draws on 2,600 skills in auto-levelling games which can adapt to your child’s pace in subjects like reading and writing, mathematics, creativity and life skills, and science and social studies.Games can be played via cartridges or download apps directly to the devices 8 GB of memory, you can hold up to 40,000 photos, and with a built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery.
